CIAT-3 CRPF Kalikiri is located at Kalikiri,Annamayya District in Andhra Pradesh. Traditionally local folklore dictates the name "Kalikiri" originates from two dancing sisters, Kalki and Kulki, who were given the land by the local ruler. Kalikiri is a town with a population of around 25,000 inAnnamayya district of Andhra Pradesh. The culture of Kalikiri is a mixture of Rayalaseema and Dravidian cultures. The town is famous for its Tomato market, which supplies Tomatoes to other districts in Andhra Pradesh and other nearby states.
CIAT – 3 CRPF Kalikiri is spread over in 175 acres of land. A Common Firing Range in 169.24 Acres of land is adjacent to this Institution and is also looked after by this Institute. The terrain of the School is hilly/ Rocky with thorny bushes. Camp is about a distance of 5 km away from Kalikiri town. Presently the Institution is functioning in 70 Nos PF Huts and the infrastructure is developing very fast. The campus of 53 Bn ITBP and Rear Hqr of 65 Bn BSF are also located adjacent to this campus. MHA land for the construction of Hospital and Kendriya Vidyalaya is also adjacent to this Institute.
Sanction is accorded for the construction of following projects
Subsidiary KPKB as well as a wet Canteen and a Co-Operative Shop is available in this Institution.
Kalikiri is well connected by road with regular bus service from Tirupati (75 Kms), Chittoor(70 Kms) and Renigunta (90Kms). It is also having good road transport connectivity between Kalikiri - Bengaluru (Approx.180 Kms) and Kalikiri – Chennai (Approx.210 Kms).
1. Kalikiri (05 Kms from the Camp) with very limited Trains and having stoppage of short duration only.
2. Tirupati and Renigunta (75 Kms and 90 Kms respectively from the Camp) are the Main Railway Stations for the trainees coming from North India
3. Chittoor (70 Kms from the Camp) is the Main Railway Station for trainees coming from South India.

Kalikiri is having a pleasant weather throughout the year. Moderately warm with average temperatures between 20 to 40 degrees Celsius during Summer. Summer lasts from March to June and the Rainy Season starts in July, followed by Winter Season, which starts in the month of November and lasts till the end of February. Winter is also moderate with average temperatures between 15 to 25 Degree Celsius.
