CWA Western sector CRPF organized Program at Western sector Hqr , Navi Mumbai | CWA Western sector CRPF organized Program at Western sector Hqr , Navi Mumbai on 03/08/2022. One automatic Sanitary Pad Vending Machine & one Incinerator Machine each has been given by V2 care HSW Foundation to GC Pune & GC Gandhinagar. Smt Ritu Datta, Sector President of CWA, CRPF was the chief guest of the function who further distributed these items to the representative of respective Group centers in the presence of Smt Charulata Tokas, Smt Sangeeta Rai, Smt Padmaja Jha, General secretary of V2 care, Smt Mona Siddu, Smt Indrani Yadav, Commandant (INT/OPS)WS CRPF & other ladies of western sector hqr. This program was sponsored by Henkel India. Both representatives were given on the spot training of these equipments for further installation & handling. The Vending machine is fully automatic & has facilities of UPI payment as well as coin payment. These machines can be installed at a place where ladies in the group centre can easily access. Sanitary pad can be obtained fm this machine by paying through UPI or Coins as fixed. Along with this, 500 Sanitary Pads each have also been given. This will facilitate the young girls & ladies to get instant pads at cheap rate in the group centre complexes. | |
"Blood Donation Camp” by Western Sector HQR CRPF | Central Reserve Police Force is an elite Force dealing with the internal security, anti-terrorist/naxal operations, VIP security, Disaster relief, Law & Order and other such duties to keep peace and harmony in the nation. Western Sector HQR, CRPF organized a "Blood Donation Camp” On 14/02/2021 at 102 Bn RAF, Taloja in association with TATA Memorial Hospital, Navi Mumbai in memory of CRPF Martyrs during Pulwama (J&K) terrorist attack. Western Sector CRPF also organized Blood Donation Camp at four other places under its jurisdiction i.e. Group Centre Gandhinagar (Gujarat), Pune, Nagpur and Range Gadchiroli in which @ 40 units total 200 units of blood was donated to help saving lives of our fellow citizens. Smt. Rashmi Shukla, IPS, ADG CRPF visited the Blood Donation camp. Sh. Sanjay A. Lathkar, IPS, IGP WS led from the front for this noble cause. Sh. Khajan Singh, DIGP, WS CRPF Sh. 12th Tribal Youth Exchange Program at GC CRPF Pune | 12th Tribal Youth Exchange Program organized by GC CRPF Pune in association with BSF & Nehru Yuva Kendra at CRPF Group Center Pune from 20/02/2020 to 26/02/2020 involving 198 Tribal of Chhattisgarh & Jharkhand. An initiative of Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Youth Affairs & sports to provide an opportunity to Tribal Youth for an exposure visit to different places of the country to understand the cultural ethos, language, lifestyles of the people depicting Socio economic and cultural development and unity in diversity aspects of our national life. In order to provide exposure to industry and skill development program, youth were taken to visit Police & various civil departments. They were also taken for Mumbai and Pune Darshan during the course of this period. This has been a healthy & constructive project where Tribal students from remote interiors of both the states got an exposure of the mainstream & they all found it very endearing. Sh. Sanjay A. "Ek Shaam Desh Ke Rakshak Ke Naam” program at Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Ahmedabad | A Program "Ek Shaam Desh Ke Rakshak Ke Naam” was organized by Sandesh News Channel on 13/02/2020 at Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Ahmedabad to pay tribute to Pulwama Martyrs. The program included a panel discussion on Security Issues, Cultural Program by 100 RAF and Gujarat Folk Singers. A documentary depicting the role of CRPF was also screened. Sh K. M. Yadav, DIGP, GC Gandhinagar during his speech highlighted the role and achievements of the force. A Cheque for Rs. 2,51,000/- was also given by ‘Sandesh News Channel' for ‘Bharat Ke Veer'. Organ Donation | Organ donation from deceased donors is gaining momentum in India and it is time to take this programme further to help thousands of patients with organ failure get a second chance at life. CRPF as the largest paramilitary force has taken upon itself to contribute for this noble cause in large numbers. CRPF personnel and their family members were motivated to come out and volunteer for this cause. So far 1235 officers and men of Western Sector, CRPF have pledged to donate their organs. Their names have been sent to CRPF HQ for further submission to NOTTO (National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization) under Ministry of Health and family Welfare, GOI. | |
Erection of Martyrs' Busts | The history of CRPF is repleted with instances of heroic deeds and acts of valour from the day of its inception. We remember and honour all our martyrs who have laid down their lives in the line of duty for the sake of their motherland serving in different parts of the country. Western Sector, CRPF has erected busts of 23 such martyrs of the force belonging to Maharashtra and Gujarat, in the school premises where these martyrs had studied. This step will not only keep their memory alive but also inspire young generations. On various such occasions, CRPF officers have honoured the next of kin and parents of the martyrs in the presence of locals, teachers and students of the schools and prominent persons of the area. |
