Adopter should agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. Adopter shall ensure proper accommodation with space for leisure and walking of K9 and proper care and custody of K9.
2. Adoptershall ensure good quality feed, prompt vet care and bear all the expenses of feed and medical treatment in respect of K9, including its timely vaccinations.
3. Adopter shall not abuse or ill-treat K9.
4. Adopter shall not use K9 for breeding or any other unauthorized activity like selling, other means to earn money or use against any individual.
5. Adopter shall inform and take permission of the CRPF authorities if He/she has to hand over K9 to any NGO or other suitable entity, owing to exigencies.
6. Adopter shall allow officers from CRPF to visit K9 for periodical inspection, andprovide any information regarding the K9 whenever sought.
7. Adopter shall give a written intimation to CRPF, in case of the death of K9.
8. Adopter shall keep CRPF authorities informed about periodic welfare of the K9 through short videos and live VC.
9. Adopter shall give emotional support if the K9 is found in distress and will extend all therapeutic care as required for a geriatric dog.
10.Adopter shall take care of the K9 hero with dignity, due diligence and compassion. Further, the CRPF reserves the right to take back K9 at any time if the stipulated terms are violated or found compromised.
