It is a profound privilege for me to lead the Karnataka-Kerala Sector of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), a sector that epitomizes unwavering dedication and excellence. Established on August 24, 2016, following its strategic re-location from Kolkata to Bengaluru, the Karnataka-Kerala Sector has been charged with the vital mission of ensuring peace, stability, and security across the states of Karnataka and Kerala, the Union Territory of Puducherry (Mahe), and the Lakshadweep Islands.
Our sector has assumed the crucial role of upholding law and order, safeguarding essential installations, and providing steadfast protection to VIPs in these regions. Our officers and personnel serve as vigilant guardians of the Nation, courageously confronting challenges as they arise.
The ethos of "Service and Loyalty," our guiding motto, resonates in every mission we undertake, reflecting our resolute commitment to the Nation. I take immense pride in the dedication, valor, and tenacity exhibited by the officers and personnel of all the nine battalions within this sector, who are deployed nationwide and continue to uphold the CRPF's legacy of integrity, discipline, and professionalism. I would also like to recognize the exemplary administrative support extended to these battalions by the Group Centers and Composite Hospitals located in Pallipuram (Kerala) and Bengaluru.
As we progress, I am confident that our personnel, ever vigilant and resolute, will consistently adhere to the highest ideals of service to the Nation, ensuring that their presence, wherever needed, heralds peace.
The stellar contribution of the two premier specialized training centres of this Sector, i.e Dog Breeding & Training School (DBT&S), Taralu and CoBRA School of Jungle Warfare and Training (CSJWT), Belgaum in enhancing the security protocol of the Force by providing expertly trained K9s and developing specialized combat skills among our personnel warrants special appreciation.
