It is a matter of great honour and pride for me to take over as the Inspector General of Jammu Sector , one of the most prestigious Sectors of the CRPF, comprising of 16 Operational and Administrative battalions deployed in various areas of the Jammu Region. This includes performing diverse responsibilities across all 3 Ranges, viz. Range Jammu, Range Hiranagar and Range OPS Jammu North, and Group Centre CRPF Jammu and Group Centre CRPF Hiranagar.
This sector has successfully completed many civic action programs in different areas of Jammu. Apart from this, Jammu sector is making important contribution in counter insurgency operations and maintaining law and order in the state. CRPF is providing assistance to the local citizens from time to time as per their requirement. A wonderful and noble work has been done by Jammu Sector through a massive campaign of tree plantation; this responsibility is being discharged with full dedication, dedication and commitment.
The soldiers and officers of our units under this sector have brought laurels to the force by their commendable courageous performance in the field areas. I am sure that we will always strive to keep the CRPF flag flying high. I look forward to continuous dialogue with all our officers and men so that we can achieve excellence through new ideas.
