The Communication Sector is tasked with ensuring the delivery of effective and efficient communication services to the multifaceted roles of the deployed force. This includes:
Overseeing the management of the Intranet (SELO) Network across all CRPF formations.
Conducting technical evaluations and field trials of cutting-edge communication and IT equipment and gadgets.
Procuring state-of-the-art communication and IT equipment as well as UAVs.
Handling the repair and maintenance of radio equipment and UAVs.
Managing frequency allocation and distribution of Cipher documents within the Force.
Developing policies related to Signal cadre, training programs, courses, and the recruitment of Signal personnel.
