It is a matter of honour and privilege for me to serve as the Special Director General of this versatile force. The CRPF is the largest Para Military Force of the world and always ready to accept any challenge. The unflinching loyalty, adaptability and agility are the hallmarks of this force and the reason for its wider acceptance all over India as well as overseas.
The sacrifices made by our dedicated bravehearts for the country is our bedrock and it goes a long way in maintaining peace and communal harmony in the Nation.
The Central Zone is the largest Zone in terms of deployment and geographical area. The Zone is vigorously engaged in the fight against the Left Wing Extremism. We are not only making inroads into the core areas to deal with this problem with tough hands, but also making all out efforts for its development. The dividends are visible.
Apart from the operational aspects, we are according high priority to improvement of administrative apparatus, welfare issues and capacity building.
Our endeavor towards the nation building would go on with great vigour.
