Independence Day Celebrations at Nowhatta Chowk, Srinagar came under attack by militants who hurled grenades and fired with automatic weapons at four places namely Nowhatta Chowk, Gojwara Chowk, Bata Gali and Khaniyar Chowk in which Commandant Promod Kumar martyred.
