| 76th Independence Day celebration by WS HQR & units /institutions under the Western Sector | 76th Independence Day was proudly celebrated by western sector CRPF along with the officers and men of Rapid Action Force ( RAF) on 15/08/2022 in 102 RAF camp Taloja, Navi Mumbai. Sh. Randeep Datta PMG, IGP, Western Sector hoisted the National Flag as a chief guest at quarter guard. A brief speech was delivered by Sh. Randeep Datta PMG, IGP, Western Sector about Importance of the Day and announced the names of the medals awardees of CRPF personnel and congratulated them on the 76th Independence Day. Shri Chandra Bhushan, DIG, WS, Shri P.C. Jha, PMG, DIG, WS, Sh Praveenkumar Chandrakant Ghag, DIG, RAF Range, Shri. B. S. Siddhu, Commandant WS, along with Officers and personnel of WS HQR CRPF and Rapid Action Force remained present at the event. President Police Medal for Gallantry and other medal awarded to the CRPF personnel were announced. 74TH Independence Day of the C.R.P.F. was also celebrated in various ways by the institutions and units under the Western Sector, C.R.P.F., Navi Mumbai. A flute musical program was organized by Shri. Paras Nath (Flutist, singer and composer) In flute musical program, Shri. Paras Nath paid a musical tribute to the all the corona frontline warriors for their selfless act of valor and with the good thought reinstating and instilling the spirit of patriotism by playing the national anthem with the pious musical instrument.
