CRPF is the premier Central Armed Police Force of the Union of India and is fully committed to its multifarious duties which includes fighting insurgency in the North East, combating terrorism in Jammu & Kashmir, tackling Left Wing extremism in Naxal affected areas and guarding vital installations of Central and State Governments. Consequent on change of KLP, The Eastern Sector was redeployed from Kolkata to Bengaluru and renamed as Karnataka-Kerala Sector. Karnataka-Kerala Sector started functioning at GC Campus, Bengaluru w.e.f 24/08/2016 and oversees the deployment of CRPF in the States of Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep Islands and U.T of Puducherry (Mahe). The Units of this Sector are deployed in various theaters of the Country and are discharging their duties with devotion, dedication and courage to uphold the integrity of the Nation and uphold CRPF motto "Service & Loyalty” with pride and honor. My greeting and best wishes to all the Ranks of Karnataka-Kerala Sector. I am confident that our men and officers will continue to dedicate ourselves to the Nation.
