Ø HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF INSTITUTIONAL BUILDING
1.CHERAN BARRACK
The Chera dynasty, IPA, also known as the Keralaputra, was one of the principal lineages in and before the Sangam period history of the state of Kerala and the Kongu Nadu region of Western Tamil Nadu in southern India.
2. CHOLAN BARRACK
The Chola Dynasty was a Tamil thalassocratic empire of southern India, one of the longest-ruling dynasties in world history.
3. PALLAWAN BARRACK
The Pallava dynasty was a South Indian dynasty that existed from 275 CE to 897 CE, ruling a significant portion of the Deccan, also known as Tondaimandalam. The dynasty rose to prominence after the downfall of the Satavahana dynasty, with whom they had formerly served as feudatories.
4. PANDIYAN BARRACK
The Pandya dynasty, also referred to as the Pandyas of Madurai, was an ancient dynasty of South India, and among the three great kingdoms of Tamilakam, the other two being the Cholas and the Cheras.

The Pothigai Hills, also known as Agasthiyar Mountain is a 1,866-metre (6,122 ft)-tall peak in the southern part of the Western Ghats of South India.
6. NILGIRI BUILDING
The Name 'Nilgiris' means Blue hills (Neelam – Blue and giri – Hill or Mountain) the first mention of this name has been found in the Silappadikaram. The Nilgiri Mountains are part of a larger mountain chain known as the Western Ghats. Their highest point is the mountain of Doddabetta, height 2,637.
7. KAVERI HOSTEL
The name Kaveri is girl's name meaning "river". The Kaveri is a prominent river in South India, where it flows through the states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. It is among the seven holy rivers of India, personified by the goddess Kaveriamma.
