CIAT Chittoor History:

 

          Counter Insurgency and Anti-Terrorism School, CRPF, Chittoor got sanctioned on             16 Jan 2014 to impart specialized training on counter insurgency and anti-terrorism . Initially this institution was raised on 15/09/2014 at Group Centre, CRPF Avadi Campus Chennai (T.N.) and shifted temporarily from GC Avadi to Ambikapur (C.G.) in August 2015 where it started  imparting training  to troops. This Institution  finally shifted from Ambikapur to Kalikiri, Chittoor (AP) and started functioning at Kalikiri, Chitoor (AP) wef 11/5/2017.
