Hon’ble DG has inaugurated the CIT on 02/05/11 in the presence of ADG SZ, Hyd, IGP (Pers & Comn), DIGP Signal Range, DIGP GC BLR, Comdt 2 Signal Bn and other Officers in order to educate the CRPF personnel on Information and Technology and to accelerate E-governance, GIS projects, its implementation in the force to enhance operational capabilities.

This institution started functioning wef 01/04/2011 as per orders of IGP (Pers & Comn) Dte CRPF vide office order No. M.V-5/2010-11-IT-DA-1 dated 23/03/2011 and the following courses have been designed by DIG (IT) completed/undergoing as per details tabulated below :-

In the Opening and closing address of each course, DIGP GC BLR will attend the same and interact with the personnel and explain about the purpose/use of courses in the use of field/office work.
